I think the thought of knowing that I could do something I loved but still make it into a career inspired me to become a professional makeup artist on YouTube.

I’ve always had an artistic side to me, I loved arts and crafts, baking, and at one point when I was younger I wanted to be a fashion designer. 

Knowing that I get to put a smile on peoples faces and make them feel even more beautiful and confident in themselves is truly one of the best parts of being a makeup artist. 
For my brides who trust me on their wedding day, it truly is an amazing feeling being able to be a small part in such a special day. I always read that you should do what you love and love what you do. I’m so lucky and fortunate enough to be able to do that. 

I’m always trying to find new ways to advance my skills like watching videos, testing new products, or attending masterclasses.

WHEN I’M NOT DOING ANYTHING MAKEUP RELATED, I BARTEND AT A LOCAL HOMETOWN BAR. IF I HAVE THE CHANCE TO PICK UP SHIFTS ON THE WEEKEND, I WILL ALWAYS TRY TO MAKE THE EXTRA MONEY. BECAUSE I HAVE EARLY WEEKEND MORNING WAKE UP CALLS, MY WEEKEND SOCIAL LIFE IS LIMITED. I ENJOY ADVENTURING TO NEW FOOD PLACES WITH MY HUSBAND, TRIPS TO TJMAXX AND TARGET, AND HOSTING PARTIES SO I HAVE AN EXCUSE TO MAKE MY EPIC CHARCUTERIE BOARDS!
